Joan Anim-Addo

Dr Joan Anim-Addo is Director of the Caribbean Studies Centre and lectures in the Dept of English and Comparative Literature at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Her research areas include Caribbean literature, The Black Presence in Britain, and Creole Studies. She has taught at Vassar College in the USA and lectured at many universities including SUNY Geneseo (USA), Turku (Finland) and Trento (Italy). Her publications include Framing The Word: Gender and Genre in Caribbean Women's Writing, Haunted by History (Poetry), Centre of Remembrance: Memory and Caribbean Women's Literature and Touching the Body.
